Defining Lines Programme

DEFINING LINES

Below is a brief outline of what can be achieved within six sessions.

Of course when you mix personal needs and the opportunity to laugh or even vent, the Programme can become as long or as short as required.

More course material can be made available upon liaison, please see the Contact Page.

Session One is purely an encouragement for why to look at something new.

Session Two is the real start to the Programme, and simply looks at what is a Defining Line.

A SIX PART PROGRAMME:

1. INTRODUCTION

Why consider rethinking our development?

Try the CANS analogy, shows how in maturity we can take a better lok at things

(Further information is available about this)

Why consider linking with others?

Try the NET analogy

WHY are 'Mirrors' necessary in our lives?

we examine the benefit of honest opinion

(In fact, it is more or less essential to work this Programme through with other 'Mirrors'

around us)

How to approach this style of programme

Taking a hold with both hands, allows us to face the subject properly,

we may even want to pass on the benefits to others.

(In fact the fuller benefits of these sessions happens best through encouraging others)

Delivery happens in a simple way of TEACH-TO-TEACH, which means keeping concepts

so utterly simple that people can pass them on in way that will enable others to feel

that they can do the same.

When moving to the next Session: THE USUAL TERMS OF CONFIDENTIALITY

AND FREEDOM TO CONTRIBUTE OR NOT, ARE THE BEST POLICY

2. WHAT ARE DEFINING LINES

Consider how we delineate

Consider what we define, characterise, lay-out, plot, etc.

What are healthy Relational Defining Lines? Where and how should they be positioned?

3. WHAT PULLS US TOGETHER

From where do we hail, and what do we consider to be the basis for our living standards?

On what principles do we stand?

How do we communicate agreements and how do we progression of our corporate life?

From the start this course is by no means a teaching, instead it is an active opportunity

for each person to contribute their thoughts, if they should choose to do so.

In the progress, the art of examining is allowed to flourish.

4. UNDERSTANDING THE WAY WE MATURE

Growing phases.

  • Now the group has better understanding of each other, it can be fun to demonstrate the stages of maturing. There are simple diagrams given to show how, with one or two play-hoops, the analogy can be made.

  • The three components of our identity
defining lines
diagram maturity

  • When Nurture, Limits or Protection are set in the wrong mode or position

it affects our character.

Meet some of the characters -

unhealthy characters

5. TEN TEMPLATES OF LIFE (Cooking Components or Construction Components)

[Children mature by learning. Adults mature by putting into practise the right elements]

6. CHECK FOR BLOCKAGES

  • (myths) AND CONSIDER THE IMPACT (cost)
  • Consider reasons why a like-minded support group, would help
